Oklahoma Legislative Update 2026

OBJECTIVES:

To educate insurance agents about the recent updates to Oklahoma laws that affect them. This course provides Oklahoma Licensed Agents with an overview of Laws and Rule changes that have occurred in 2025 and 2026 and affect the business of insurance in Oklahoma. Oklahoma insurance producers and adjusters are required to take at least two hours of continuing education on the subject of legislative changes every renewal period.

Knowledge Areas: The insurance professional will have knowledge of:

  • The legislative process and the history of the Oklahoma Constitution
  • How an idea becomes a law and the process of passing a bill
  • All 2025 and 2026 legislative updates that pertain to the insurance industry
  • References to the statute and links to access the rule changes
